Today’s modern culture does not respect the human experience of difficult, negative emotions. We are encouraged to carry on, “chin-up” and forge ahead. This overwhelm, and the lack of rest, can lead to a subtle or overt feeling of depression, which can manifest in many ways in your life and physical body; stuckness, emptiness, grief, anger, fatigue or chronic pain. Depression can affect us after major life changes – losing a job or spouse, relocating, or becoming a caregiver, or it can creep in with no explainable reason.

Mindfulness is a user-friendly method to lift depression and allow you to rest in who you are.

My focus is to provide you with health-promoting practices and supportive coping strategies to overcome difficult periods in life. Choosing your wellness as a priority allows you to feel comfortable and at peace in life’s journey, in moments of both calm and chaos. We can also address past traumas that may sneak into your regular life, which can often be an underlying cause of depression.

During our first session together we will discuss the modalities that will best suit you.
